Meet Stefan Hansen: Supporting the Pacific Through Local Expertise and Affordable Insurance

We’re excited to introduce our new Underwriting Manager, Stefan Hansen. Though he’s only been with us for two months, Stefan has quickly become a key part of our mission—to provide affordable, reliable insurance across the Pacific and Southeast Asia. His role focuses on supporting Federal Pacific Insurance teams around the Pacific with technical underwriting guidance and answering complex insurance questions. Stefan is helping strengthen insurance operations across the five countries Federal Pacific Insurance has a footprint: the Cook Islands, Vanuatu, Tonga, Samoa, and Timor-Leste.
What truly sets Federal Pacific apart, according to Stefan, is the deep local connection in places like the Cook Islands. “Our teams don’t just work here—they live here. They know the culture, understand the people, and speak the language of the communities we insure. This local presence allows us to deliver tailored insurance solutions and break down complex policies in ways that make sense to our customers.”
